First race and first victory of Simone Faggioli wearing LeCont! The very strong Tuscan driver, multiple European and Italian Mountain Champion (also in 2014!) Changed shoes, choosing LeCont and won his debut in the prestigious and very popular Bergrennen Mickhausen International Hill Climb 2014 - valid for the FIA Karting International Hill Climb 2014 Cup, as well as for the Austrian mountain championship - with a performance that leaves no room for doubt. Faggioli left his closest rival at 1"1 behind. The Florentine champion, aboard his Norma M20FC Zytek with LeCont tyres, won the first step of the podium with the overall time, adding the three climbs, of 2'24"838. Thanks to the extraordinary performance detached in the second fraction (47"674) Faggioli also set a new record for this German hillclimb. Very good Simone, but this is only the beginning. Participation in the German hillclimb was in fact very important to be able to test solutions of set-up and tyre management in view of the highly anticipated first Hill Climb Masters of the FIA Karting, a sort of "world championship" of the specialty, which will take place in Eschdorf, Luxembourg, next weekend.
