The strong Tuscan driver, multi-European and Italian Hill Climb Champion (also in 2014!) changed his "shoes",
choosing the LeCont radial tyres and he won at his debut. Faggioli took the top step of podium in the
prestigious and very popular Hill Climb of Bergrennen Mickhausen - valid for the FIA International Hill Climb
Cup, as well for the Austrian Hill Climb Championship - making an astonishing performance that leaves no room
for doubt. Faggioli left his closest pursuer to 1.1 seconds gap.
At the wheel of his prototype Norma M20FC-Zytek/LeCont, Faggioli won the race with the global time (the sum of
the three climbs) of 02:24.838. In the second fraction (0:47. 674) Faggioli make an extraordinary performance
establishing the new record for this German Hill Climb.
Bravissimo Simone, but this was just the beginning...
His participation in the German trial was in fact very important to find and checked some set-upping solutions
and to approach his new tyres, in view of the first FIA Hill Climb Masters, a sort of "world cup" of this
specialty, which will be held at Eschdorf, Luxembourg, next weekend.
