Founded by two brothers, Sergio and Valter Cont, who are passionate about technology and motorsport, LeCont
S.r.l is a Trentino company producing competition tires and high performance compounds. Founded
in 1993, after
having made its debut with immediate success in the motorcycle sector, LeCont has established itself as one
of
the five leading tire manufacturers in the karting market, before also appearing in the car
racing
sector,
making tires with its own brand. traditional carcass (cross ply) in the 10" size and supplying technologies
and compounds on behalf of third parties. Starting from the participation in Pikes Peak 2014 (29 June
2014),
LeCont has made a great leap in quality by entering the sector of motor racing summit with 13" radial
technology tires intended for prototypes such as the Norma M20 RD-Honda, piloted at the race in Colorado (USA)
by Frenchman Romain Dumas. In its main sector of activity, karting, LeCont has, since 1996 to date,
homologated a range of tires with the CIK-FIA International Federation. In the early years, its tires
raced
under the All Tires brand, then changed to Cont Sport Tires and finally (since 2004) with the same current
commercial brand: LeCont. Over the years, LeCont has won several highly prestigious national and
international
titles
